The AIMA Big Sur Sport 2.0 packs the power and capability of a full-size fat-tire e-bike into a compact, easy-to-handle package. With 20" x 4.0" tires, a powerful BAFANG motor, a large-capacity battery, and a low, approachable frame, it's a great choice for everyday riding, exploring gravel roads and trails, camping trips, or simply cruising around town.

The smaller 20" wheels give the Big Sur Sport 2.0 a low center of gravity and nimble handling, while the wide 4" tires add stability, traction, and cushioning on rough pavement, gravel, dirt, and other mixed surfaces. A suspension fork with lockout adds another layer of comfort when the road gets rough. AIMA recommends the one-size frame for riders approximately 5'0" to 6'3".

Powerful BAFANG Drive System

At the heart of the Big Sur Sport 2.0 is a 750W BAFANG rear hub motor paired with AIMA's selectable torque and cadence sensor system. In Torque Mode, assistance responds to how hard you're pedaling for a smoother, more natural bicycle-like feel. Switch to Cadence Mode when you want easier, more consistent assistance with less effort. A throttle-on-demand and five pedal-assist levels give you even more control over how you ride.

Power comes from a large 48V 20Ah (960Wh) removable LG-cell battery, with AIMA claiming up to 80 miles of range under favorable riding conditions. The battery can be charged on or off the bike, making it convenient for home, RV, or apartment storage.

Smart Features Built In

The 2.0 version adds a number of useful connected features through the BAFANG E-System and BAFANG Go App. The color TFT display provides your essential ride information while supporting navigation and ride customization. The system also offers Apple Find My compatibility, giving iPhone users an additional way to keep track of their bike.

Integrated front and rear lighting, rear turn signals, and an electronic horn make the Big Sur Sport 2.0 particularly well suited to everyday transportation and around-town riding.

Built for Everyday Use

AIMA equips the Big Sur Sport 2.0 with a practical collection of components, including Tektro hydraulic disc brakes with large 203mm rotors, a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, double-wall aluminum rims, alloy platform pedals, ergonomic grips, and an enlarged comfort saddle. The aluminum frame has a 400 lb. maximum payload capacity, giving the bike plenty of capacity for larger riders or carrying additional gear.

The electrical system is also UL 2849 certified for added peace of mind.
